Welcome to the Fall 2023 Season of Penn Hills Soccer Association!
We are thrilled to kick off another exciting season of soccer, bringing together players, families, and the community in the spirit of athleticism, camaraderie, and fun. Whether you're a returning participant or joining us for the first time, we're excited to have you on board.
About Penn Hills Soccer Association:
Penn Hills Soccer Association (PHSA) has been a cornerstone of our community for 30 years, fostering a love for the game while nurturing skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Our association is built on the dedication of volunteers, passionate coaches, and enthusiastic players who all contribute to creating a vibrant soccer family.
What to Expect: This season promises to be one filled with memorable moments, skill-building experiences, and friendly competition. Our emphasis goes beyond the score on the board; it's about personal growth, teamwork, and enjoying the journey together.
Key Information:

- Dates: The Fall 2023 season will run from September 9, 2023 to October 28, 2023, bringing us together for several weeks of soccer action.
- Schedules: CLICK HERE to see Fall Inhouse Soccer Schedules
- Locations: Games and practices will take place at Universal Park, Penn Hills PA 15235. Please refer to the schedule for specific details.
- Uniforms: Uniform Distribution is TBD. Our uniforms are on the way and may arrive after the season starts. If uniforms have not arrived by the first game HOME TEAMS can wear RED shirts and AWAY TEAMS can wear white shirts.
Equipment
As we eagerly anticipate the start of the upcoming soccer season, we want to ensure that each child is well-prepared to make the most of their time on the field. To guarantee a positive experience for your young athlete, we kindly ask that you equip them with the following essential items for every practice and game in the Rec League:
1. SOCCER BALL: Please ensure your child brings a soccer ball that corresponds to their age group:
- Size 3 ball for U6
- Size 3 ball for U8
- Size 4 ball for U10
- Size 5 ball for U13
2. SHIN GUARDS: The safety of our players is a top priority. Shin guards are mandatory for all practices and games. Please ensure your child's shin guards are well-fitted and offer adequate protection.
3. SOCCER CLEATS: Suitable footwear is crucial for optimal performance and safety. Soccer cleats are the recommended choice, but other soccer-specific shoes are also acceptable.
4. WATER BOTTLE: Staying hydrated is essential during physical activities. Please provide your child with a water bottle labeled with their name.
5. SOCCER SOCKS: Properly fitting soccer socks that fully cover the shin guards are necessary to ensure comfort and protection during play.
